Placing a deposit purchases the artwork. Art will be available after the show at Ciders from Mars at the end of September. Local pickup can be arranged, or buyer will be asked to pay shipping.
 
The beautiful chrysina beetle is collected and sold in a largely unregulated market. I've always been fascinated with biological collections, but have conflicting feelings of the morality of killing them for display purposes or selling them. I want one--but also don't--so I made this piece to be collected with moral absolution.
